The Lexus IS sedan with AWD is still only available with the 204hp, 2.5 liter V6. It is coupled to a 6-speed paddle-shift-sequential automatic transmission. It has an engine immobilizer system for anti-theft. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't like the idea of a transponder sending a signal to my motor. The Lexus GS sedan with AWD is only available with the 303hp 3.5 liter, high compression V6. (GS 350) Like its smaller sibling, the IS, it is visually unchanged for 2009 and also incorporates the engine immobilizer. Standard are run flat tires. The GS450 is not available in AWD trim. The 5 passenger Lexus LS sedan with AWD is available as the LS 460 or the $105,885 LS 600h L powered by a 5 liter V8 hybrid powertrain.The standard AWD LS 460 with 357hp will run a 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds, while the same engine in the 460 L version delivers 380hp. This 5 passenger crossover has a 5 speed automatic transmission (no manual option), and is also available with a hybrid CVT power train as the $43,480 RX 400h AWD.
